"May assistant po ako na naghahandle ng Social media accounts ko, pero merong dalawa na ako mismo. Halos lahat ay para sa advocacies ko at kasama na po rito ang aking singing career," bungad na sagot ng magaling na singer.

Sa Fb ay araw-araw kang nakikita ng mga fans mo. Ano ang purpose ng FB Lives mo?

Sinimulan ko ito nung kalagitnaan ng ECQ nang nabalitaan ko na tumaas ang suicide rate sa US due to the pandemic, at ayokong mangyari yun sa Pilipinas, kaya para makatulong sa mga kababayan natin as many people as I can reach, I share positivity and values sa lives ko para malagay sa tamang disposisyon ang mga tao," esplika ni Gari.

Is this your preparation for a TV Show in the future?

"As of now po ay wala pang ganung plano."

Anway, maiba ako. Sa FB lives mo ay kapansin pansing isa kang maprinsipyong tao. Ano ang stand mo sa pagpapasara ng Kongreso sa ABS CBN?

"Malungkot din ako para sa mga nawalan ng trabaho, at may mga program sila na gusto ko tulad ng the Voice at Banana Sundae. Yung dalawa lang na yun, pero sa YouTube lang ako nanonood.

"This is a compliance case so sa tingin ko pag nag-comply na ang ABS CBN ay maaayos din ito. Dapat sumusunod tayo sa batas, maliit man o malaking negosyo and I would like to believe na susunod naman sa batas ang ABS CBN," sagot pa rin ng singer na nagpasikat ng awiting "Baguio". Sobrang nalulugkot siya sa pagkakasara ng Kapamilya network. Pero positibo si Gari na magbubukas din ito in due time.

Ano ang masasabi mo sa mga artista na nagrarally para sa ABS CBN?

"Kung wala pong pandemya ok lang po, that's their freedom, pero sa panahon ngayon ay napakadelikado ang lumabas ng bahay kaya wag sana sila manghimok ng mga tao para samahan sila unless na willing sila na sagutin ang hospital expenses ng mga mahahawa sa CoVid dahil sa naging exposure sa maraming dikit-dikit na mga tao."

Pa'no ka magre-react kapag nagkaroon ka na ng bashers?

"Maybe I'll explain my side to straighten things out para hindi na lumaki kung sa tingin ko ay may kailangang ituwid. Kung wala naman, i'll Just keep quiet."

Pano mo hinaharap ang pandemya at ano ang maipapayo mo sa mga nadedepress sa sitwasyon ng mundo ngayon?

"Laging manalangin dahil sa Diyos ay walang imposible. Maging mapagpasalamat sa Diyos para lapitan ng swerte."

Sanya Lopez banners the fresh episode of Wish Ko Lang! this Saturday, August 1.

Together with Sue Prado, Allan Paule, and Ayeesha Cervantes, Sanya brings to life the story of Kathleen and Khaycee (Ayeesha)—two sisters from Laurel, Batangas who were struck by lightning during a storm.

Kathleen and Khaycee only wanted to provide for their family especially since their father is slowly losing his vision. To make matters worse, he was retrenched after the lockdown. Their mother tried to make ends meet by making suman that Kathleen and Khyacee sold. But they got short on capital so their mother went to the mountains to get ingredients such as coconuts.

Their mother told them not to join her but Kathleen and Khaycee were worried about her safety and insisted on going with her. It was raining hard and the sisters decided to take shelter inside a hut while their mother continued sourcing for other fruits. Nobody expected what would happen next— lightning struck Kathleen and Khaycee.

Ever since the sisters’ death last July 12, their family has been trying to pick up the pieces and start life anew. Kathleen and Khaycee's dream included getting their father treated, putting up a business for their mother, and sending their two siblings to school. Now, the family wishes they would be able to make Kathleen and Khaycee’s dreams come true.

Sanya shared that she is honored to be part of this heart-warming episode. “I was so excited when I found out na I’ll be part of a new episode of Wish Ko Lang. Lalo na yung story nag dalawang magkapatid na involve sa isang tragic event sa buhay nila. Ang ganda ng story nilang magkapatid.”

As TV production is still limited these days, Sanya says she is grateful how the Wish Ko Lang! team took care of her and her co-actors. “Siyempre ang first challenge dyan is how would you stick sa safety protocols. I was lucky that I was with professional actors and production team kaya everything went smoothly.”

The reenactment portion of Wish Ko Lang! is directed by Rommel Penesa, second unit director of Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation). Sanya only has good words about Direk Rommel.

“Direk Rommel has always been my favorite director. Parang tatay ko na ‘yan. Alagang alaga ako n’yan sa set at alaga rin nya mga scenes ko. He’s very good at his craft."

Sa mahigit 100 videos na in-upload ni Alice sa kanyang channel, hindi pa umabot ng 150k views ang isang episode niya sa isang buwan, pero itong palabas niya tungkol sa urban legend ay nakahamig na agad ng 343k sa loob lamang ng isang araw. Tagumpay ang kanyang gimik!

GMA Network's Statement on Actions Taken Upon Report of Positive Covid-19 Employee

GMA immediately took action when an employee informed the Network that she tested positive for COVID-19.

That same night, her permission was secured in compliance with the Data Privacy Act and which she readily gave so contact tracing was done swiftly and thoroughly.  Those who had come into direct contact with the COVID positive co-worker were immediately placed on 14-day quarantine with pay.  They shall also undergo rapid testing.  The work areas were thoroughly disinfected on top of the daily disinfection being done. 

Even if not required by government, GMA has conducted free rapid testing for field personnel and committed to shoulder the cost of the confirmatory RT-PCR test of anyone who tested positive due to exposure in their line of work.

To protect its employees, the Newsroom and other work areas are disinfected daily.  All News workers were given face masks while alcohol dispensers and footbaths were placed in strategic locations.  Social distancing and other safety protocols are mandated.  The work spaces were decongested to comply with this. Those who can were allowed to work from home.

GMA News also came out with COVID-19 coverage guidelines to guide field teams during coverage.  This was formulated following consultations with medical experts and Department of Health officials.  Field teams were also given protective gear such as face masks, face shields, gloves, alcohol, etc. 

When Metro Manila was under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) GMA provided its workers with meals, both those in the office and in the field. This continued until our canteen was able to reopen to service our personnel. Hazard pay was also given pursuant to the provisions of our collective bargaining agreement (CBA). And with the lack of public transportation, GMA provided shuttle services to its workers which continues to this day.

I went to a reputable drug testing center this morning to do my test for everyone to know Im drug free. Accusers doers Vivian Velez..Here it shows how unreliable a person you really are for accusing me w/o proof.
Your angry bcuz I called you out on your calloused heart when you posted hurtful congratulatory to the failure of ABS’s non renewal of their contract.
I do not have any problem about your issues of ABS’s non renewal.
Again listen: I have no complain to the non renewal!!
Maybe they have commited mistakes, so we made congress decide. I don’t question the team of government who made a decision on it bcuz I don’t know any better, I was not even following the hearings.
My issue is the callousness of your persons heart for people in distress & your friends & colleagues at that for 4 decades when I saw your congratulatory posts. How can a member of our industry be so blatantly cheering while thousands of your friends, acquaintances are in misery at a time when the world is in chaos, the fact that they are displaced, losing their livelihood, homes & are miserably crying in the middle of pandemic & loosing all their future & dreams. Where is your emphaty or awa to the people you worked w/ for decades? You owe this industry where you are now, to the ladder you want to climb or else where would you be if they knew the real character your displaying now. People helped you get known, given you a chance to change your life for the better, nakapwesto ka na nga dyan. Why? bcuz this politicians know you bcuz of this industry! Kailangan mo pa bang insultohin mga dati mong kasamahan to show your new friends na matibay ka?
This industry gave you special treatment & tagged you ms body beautiful in your heydays & somehow gained power when you met your producer boyfriend from again being known bcuz of this industry. You made friends w/ this very people loosing their jobs & kissed them on the cheeks when you see them!! Such unforgivable hypocrisy.
Adding insult to the injured lives of your friends was a hard pill to swallow for me.

Mga trabahador na nagpakilalang mga tao ni Konsehal Jomari Yllana ng Paranaque, dinampot sa Barangay  Tandang Sora.
Hulyo 7, mga 9:15 ng gabi nang puntahan ng masisipag na roving team ng Barangay Tandang Sora, Quezon City sa pamumuno ng masipag na Kapitan Marilou Ulanday ang ilang kalalakihang maiingay na gumagawa ng barong-barong sa mismong harap ng bahay kung saan nakatira ang ina at dalawang maliliit na anak ng aktor na ngayon ay konsehal ng Paranaque na si Jomari.
Ayon sa mga nasabing kalalakihan, sila raw ay pinayagan umano ng aktor na mag set up ng kanilang tulugan sa loob ng nasabing pribadong compound na lubos na nakagambala sa mga residente nito.
Nang sila ay tanungin ng caretaker ng lugar, sinabi ng mga ito na mismong ang konsehal ang nag utos sa kanila na gawin yun dahil may ginawa silang repair sa bahay ng mga bata. Nang puntahan sila ng mga opisyal ng barangay, napag-alamang ang sinasabing repair sa bahay ng mga anak ng konsehal ay ginawa kahapon, hindi ngayon at ang talagang sadya nila sa lugar ay ang kapitbahay na kinontrata nila ng repair at doon sila gumawa buong maghapon hanggang gabi nang Hulyo 7.
Gayunman, hindi natapos ang kanilang ginagawa kaya minabuti na lang nilang gumawa ng tulungan sa mismong harap ng bahay ng mga anak ni Jomari gamit ang mga kasangkapan na hindi man lang ipinagpaalam sa may-ari ng bahay.
Ayon pa sa kanila, sila ay mga taga Las Pinas kung kaya't hinanapan sila ng mga opisyal ng barangay ng certification lalo na ngayong tumaas na naman ang kaso ng covid sa Metro Manila partikular sa Kyusi. Walang maipakitang mga papeles ang mga taong sinabing pinadala sila sa QC ni Jomari Yllana. Dahil dito, dinampot sila ng mga opisyal ng barangay at ikinulong.
Si Jomari at ang dating partner na si Joy Reyes na naninirahan sa naturang bahay kasama ang dalawang maliliit na anak nito sa aktor ay matagal nang naghiwalay at hindi maayos ang komunikasyon.
Ang bagong kinakasama ng actor/politician  ay ang dating sexy star na si Priscilla Almeda na iniwan naman ang live-in partner at dalawang anak sa Canada.

ANTHONY ROSALDO LAUNCHES NEW SINGLE UNDER GMA MUSIC

 
The Clash Season 1 alumnus Anthony Rosaldo tells a story about two individuals who found love at the wrong time in his newest single under GMA Music titled “Pwedeng Tayo.”
 
The song was written by Vehnee Saturno, Davey Langit, Jonathan Manalo, and Edwin Marollano during the first ever FILSCAP Master Camp.
 
The Kapuso singer revealed that choosing this song for his next single was an easy one, a step towards reinventing himself as an artist, “Very skeptic ako noong naghahanap ng next song for my single. I really wanted to reinvent my music, give my listeners a new one to fall in love with. And then came the day for my song listening (listening session). Ito yung mamimili na ako ng song. Funny kasi I will be presented only one lang pala. And the reason is, Sir Kedy Sanchez found the perfect one na. Nagustuhan ko agad ang "Pwedeng Tayo" when I heard it. Fresh music, easy listening and very relatable story.”
 
He recorded the song in his own home during quarantine. The other people who were part of the recording such as the musical arranger, the backup vocalists, and the guitarists, as well as the vocal processing were also done in their respective homes. Only the final mixing of the song was done in the studio. Anthony described this experience as “fun and challenging at the same time.”

“Iba kasi yung nagre-record ka under the supervision of a professional. Sure ka na maganda ang kalalabasan. Tapos this time, it was all up to me. Pero siyempre, I tried to do my best. Perfectionist kasi ako sa sarili kong work so I really made sure na maganda yung quality ng ipinasa kong material,” he shared. 
 
“Pwedeng Tayo,” a song that most of the people who've gone through heartbreaks in their life can relate to, mirrors the reality of love and life. 
 
“Hindi lahat nakakahanap agad ng perfect match for them. Either you fall for the wrong person or it wasn’t really your time yet. Sometimes it takes a lot of tries, a lot of heartbreaks to find “The One'' pero the good thing is, you still will try kaya kapit lang,“ Anthony said. 
 
Recently,  the GMA Artist Center talent was conferred as Most Promising Male Recording Artist of the Year for his debut single "Larawan Mo” under GMA Music at the 51st Box Office Entertainment Awards. The recognition was given by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Inc.

Sinulat ni katotong Salve V. Asis sa kanyang hawak na pahayagan ang tungkol sa offer ng isang big time producer kina Bea Alonzo, Jericho Rosales at Piolo na gumawa ng teleserye na ipalalabas sa TV5 bilang blocktimer.
Ayon pa umano sa source ni Salve, sinuspende na raw ang kontrata ng mga artista sa Kapamilya Channel kaya pwede na raw sumampa sa ibang bakod ng ibang network ang mga talent nila.
Subalit pinabulaan ni Bea ang nasabing artikulo.
